Laziza Shami Kebab 100g

Shami kebab stands apart from seekh, chapli or tikka boti in one key way: it's made by cooking minced meat together with split gram lentils (chana dal), then grinding both into a smooth paste before shaping into small patties and shallow-frying. Laziza's Shami Kebab Recipe and Seasoning Mix blends red chilli, coriander, turmeric, roasted cumin, garlic, ginger, cardamom, clove and fenugreek leaves for that specific flavour, and comes with two spice sachets per box.

How to use it
Boil your minced meat together with chana dal until both are tender, then blend or mash into a smooth mixture. Mix in one sachet of the masala along with chopped onion, beaten egg, coriander, mint and green chillies, shape into small patties, and shallow-fry in ghee or oil until golden brown on both sides. Use the second sachet for your next batch.
